Jump for Jesus youth group ministers to children 2nd - 4th grade. Meeting are Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm during the school year.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

 

Our children are the next generation of the church.  Our goal is to provide a learning atmosphere where the children come to know and love Jesus Christ as their Savior.   Jump for Jesus is a fun filled hour  when we pray for one another, learn about the Bible, play games and have snacks.

The Jump for Jesus group are learning about the Bible, starting with Genesis – who wrote each book, some of the major themes of the book, characters and events in each book, the timeline of events. They will also learn which books are in the Old Testament and which are in the New Testament.

 

Each Jump for Jesus group member will receive a mailing from the leaders, Kathie & Melinda, containing some activities for them related to the Bible study.  These are:

  • Creation Day 1 Bible Verse Decoding Worksheet (self-explanatory)

  • Review of Genesis Through Ruth – Click the Answers 1 button for the solutions.

  • Old Testament Bible Maze (self-explanatory)

Also, at our last group meeting, they were given a Word Search on Joshua, Judges, and Ruth. Click the Answers 2 button for the solution.
